Choir Night - Spring Fling

Last night was awesome!! I got to see both of my children up on stage. Boo started off the night with her choir singing " Ain't no mountain high enough" and then two performances later Bear soloed with Honesty It sounded 100% better in person, but you can see and hear it here.Later in the evening the Choral ensemble serenaded Mrs. Lemon It was a four hour High School concert ending with the presentation of "Best State Choir" medals for the Chamber choir (Yellow Ribbon) and Men's ensemble "Sweet Harmony" (Blue Ribbon). The shock of the evening was the Presentation of of National School Choral Awards which is "The National School Choral Award is the highest honor for high school choral performers. It recognizes the dedication and musical achievement of the top male and/or female choral students". After the concert I presented Mrs. Lemon with "Lemon n Violet" as a thank you for all she has done for Bear during these last 4 years. Talk about a cry, blubber, red nose night. I am so proud of both my kids!!
