A whale of a walk

This morning Sarge and I decided to go to the Art Walk here in Grand Haven. It is an event that goes on until October 8th that has local artists putting up art in venues around the downtown area.
We started with breakfast at

where I knitted while waiting for our meal

I had ordered a vegetable scramble

and Sarge had fresh corned beef hash & eggs

After we headed back to the car and this sign caught my eye. Yes, my inner 12 year old came out.

Downtown was covered in the "Rocket Fish" which I think look like whales.




I loved the upside down fish!

Sarge took a look at the channel coming off Lake Michigan. He also said the sundial was off by a bit (ha)


We also found a new to us brew house here in Grand Haven. For those coming to the retreat next month- it is not within walking distance- sorry

There were another fun sign we saw hanging about. Yeah, don't think I will be buying any!
