A book a week for a year

As If I did not have enough going on, I am challenging myself to relax and read 52 books next year. Yes 52 books in 52 weeks. I know I can do this if I was not going to college and if I set my knitting/crochet aside for the year, but I am going to do this with both of those items going.
I will try to listen to books as well as read them, but I am not a huge fan of audio books. I love the turning of the pages, the way my head interprets as I read, but for a few, I might listen. I do not have a problem with reading and knitting at the same time, I am used to it in college, so we shall see how it goes.

Now to get the game plan going:

• 5 books in the Knit one Kill two series (Mary Kruger)

• Knit 2 (Kate Jacobs)

• 4 books in the Blossom street series(Debbie Macomber)

• Hooked on Murder (Betty Hechtman)

• 12 or more in the Stitch in time Series (Monica Ferris)

• Chicks with Sticks (Elizabeth Lenhard)

• Cast on Bets off

Ok that is about half-just for fun about knitting, crochet or needlework.
The other half will be fun for me, like re reading the Harry Potter series, re reading Angels and Demons and the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, as well as reading some biographies and historical books.
I will try to keep up on the blog about what books I have read and keep a count going.
Anyone want to join me?
There is a group for encouragement over on Ravelry.

Good plan. I have read all of the Debbie MacComber, Monica Ferris and the first Kate Jacobs. You should read the Maggie Shefton books, set in Colorado.

I have read all of Debbies books and some of Monica Ferris's , but I love to reread books that are fun reads.
