Worm to Butterfly

Bartering is a wonderful way to do business. Both parties get what they want and neither feel cheated.

Knitters barter yarn all the time on Ravelry. I did it for the first time a couple of weeks ago with a lady from knit night. I am not a huge fan of Noro yarns, but when they came out with sock yarn, I heard nothing but raves.. so when I saw it at City Knitting in Grand Rapids, MI, I just had to buy it. I tried, I really, really tried, to like the sock yarn. This is as far as I got. My worm. Slinky Noro socks

When I wound it up and took it to knit night, LadyBugKnitter liked it and offered a book in return. YES!!

This is what she made :

Doesn't she and the shawl look beautiful.

The worm turned into a butterfly.

and this is the book I received from her Thank you Lori

YAY two happy people!!

My homework for Stitches is almost done. I should will finish today. Homework almost done

I have my laundry going and my suitcase out. I am excited about my first vacation in 8 years!!

I can't wait to meet up with people, take classes, soak in a hot tub, relax, smell yarn, touch yarn ..... ahhhhh!

I have been busy yesterday and this morning reworking the pattern for the Little sock bag. I had a few people on Ravelry contact me about it being a bit big. They were correct. My pattern was off from the little bag in the picture. I am not sure how that happened, but I apologize. It is now correct and I just got done re crocheting the bag and making sure it is correct. Again I am sorry.

I have started The High Fiber Diet, more info coming soon.....
