Katie (Jetgirl1313) sent me some cupcake (MadColor)

This is superwash merino, nylon and bamboo fiber.
I fluffed it out, spilit it in two then split one half into 8 sections.

I spun the split up sections first onto one bobbin

Some of it is over spun but it will loosen up in the plying.
Now I am spinning the 2nd half straight as it is presented.
Thank you Katie, this has been fun!!
I added this to my Tour de Fleece spinning after I had finished the masham that was on Roo

and the novelty yarn that was on the FS

How exciting! Those are beautiful colors. I have never spun bamboo and now I really want to try.
Hi there, I just found your blog. I'm a new sock knitter, and I was doing a search for regular plain socks with the afterthought heel. Poof, your blog post popped up with your vanilla sock pattern. It's just what I was looking for.
I see you also have a podcast, I'm going to go take a listen.
It's nice to meet you. :)
