Tour DE Fleece Day 22 was another "on location" spinning day.
It was the FRG meet up for the Unit. The families of the soldiers got together for a picnic in Dewitt, Michigan. We went to Riverside Park, which is a beautiful location. It was raining when we got there, which was a relief from the muggy humidity of the day before.
My MIL went with me
The river was pretty. When the sun came out the trees reflected
Even Duckies came out to play
When the picnic started up, I brought out Roo and relaxed a bit. I did teach the children about spinning, and quite a few took a turn on the wheel. I also had a few adventurous adults who wanted to try as well.
Many of the adults are interested in learning to knit/crochet, so I might have to throw together a workshop day and just teach them. It will help with stress during the time apart from their spouses.
All in all, it was a wonderful day of being with people who are going through the same things I am these days.

I did not know about your Ladybug until I saw the photo. Congratulations on owning a wonderful wheel. (Yes, I am behind on podcasts)
