Twenty-five random things about me

Not that I think anyone really cares, I have been asked over on face book to do this so here goes:
1. I love fiber things, yes, everyone knows this, but it is still random.
2. I love to travel.
3. I am a speed-reader; do not think I am just glancing at a page when you hand it to me.
4. I love the smell of citrus
5. I do not like mayonnaise except for cooking.
6. I do not eat ketchup
7. I love most kinds of mustards
8. I like wine
9. I do not like beer
10. I can knit both left and right handed and get good gauge with both.
11. I love to crochet
12. I want to learn to quilt
13. It took me until I was 35 to admit that I love the color pink.
14. I cannot roller skate
15. I don’t like video games
16. I have enough metal in me that air travel is a PITA
17. I was burned over 2/3 of my body when I was 3
18. My nick name is Care-bear my son’s is Jer-Bear
19. I despise snow, it is a 4 letter cuss word in my house
20. I wear a lot of Crocs, they’re just so comfortable
21. I’m good with mechanics
22. I never know the names to songs on the radio,nor the artist who plays them no matter how many times I have heard them.
23. I am horrified of anyone but myself driving
24. Reagan held me when I was a baby, when he was Governor of California.
25. I’ve been dying my hair for so long that I can’t remember my natural hair color

I have always wanted to become a speed reader, how did you go about it. Did it come naturally to you or did you really have to work at it.

I took a class out at A.V. College in California. You do have to work at it, you don't actually do it all the time, like when you are "enjoying" a book, but when you need to read in a hurry, you grab sentences instead of words. Ask at a local college and see if they have a reading class, it is well worth it.

Great list I really wish I could do # 10, 11 & be # 21. I also agree with # 19 growing up in mass I've had my fair share of it
