I Love Mail

I get all happy when I get a box. Okay, I'll admit, puffies, envelopes and tubes make happy as well. I think anything except bills make me happy, but I know they are necessary, so I am glad I can pay them when they come in.

Today my KnitPicks order arrived. I am loving everything I ordered.I will be working on this sweater when I get back from Georgia . It is the Cabled Yoke Coat pattern. I love the way it looks and that I will not have to up size as the pattern actually goes bigger than the size I wear. LOVE THAT! I chose Wool of the Andes in Grass and I think the cables will pop off that yarn. I just hope it won't make me look sallow in the end.

I had also ordered a few books while they have the 40% off sale (it is over Saturday). I have flipped through all three books and am in love with each one. I have a feeling I will be learning lots in the coming weeks.
I am loving quite a few of the patterns in the top down book. The Sgt even loves one enough to ask me to make it by next winter for him (I guess he has learned from the NYCO that I don't knit overly fast).
In just glaceing through the finishing book, I know I will be using this time and time again. It has a lot of information in it.
The spinning book is one I have heard raves about. I read the first three chapters and WOW! I am blown away.

Yay for boxes!
Yay for mail!
